Unlimited Plan Fair Use Policy
Last updated: February 2025
Writomize's Unlimited plan is designed to give you generous access to AI-powered book creation for your own projects. This Fair Use Policy explains what we consider reasonable use and how we address abuse so we can keep the service sustainable and fast for everyone.
1. Intended Use of the Unlimited Plan
The Unlimited plan is for individual creators and small teams who use Writomize to create and publish their own books (e.g., coloring books, activity books) on platforms such as Amazon KDP. We expect usage to reflect normal creative workflows: generating interiors, covers, and exports for projects you own or are authorized to create.
We do not impose a fixed cap on generations per month; we rely on good-faith use consistent with a single user or small team building their own catalog.
2. What We Consider Fair Use
- Creating and iterating on your own book projects (interiors, covers, themes).
- Exporting PDFs and assets for your own publishing or client work under your plan.
- Reasonable experimentation with styles and settings to improve your output.
- Use by a single account or a small number of authorized users per subscription, as allowed by your plan.
3. What We Consider Abuse
Abuse undermines the service for others and may result in throttling, warning, plan changes, or account suspension. Examples of abuse include, but are not limited to:
- Automated or scripted bulk use — using bots, scripts, or automation to generate content at scale beyond normal human use.
- Reselling or redistributing access — offering "unlimited" generations to third parties (e.g., as a service or API) using a single Unlimited account.
- Account sharing at scale — sharing one account with many people to circumvent per-seat or per-usage expectations.
- Systematic scraping or data extraction — using the Service primarily to extract data, train models, or build competing products.
- Consistently excessive usage — usage that far exceeds what a typical creator would need for their own catalog (we may use anonymized metrics and thresholds to assess this).
4. How We May Enforce Fair Use
We may use a combination of automated and manual review to detect abuse. We do not read the content of your books; we may look at usage patterns (e.g., volume, frequency, account behavior) in anonymized or aggregated form where appropriate.
- Contact — we may reach out to ask about your use if we see patterns that look like abuse.
- Throttling — we may temporarily slow or limit generation for an account that appears to be in abuse.
- Plan change or suspension — for clear or repeated abuse, we may move the account to a different plan (e.g., a usage-based plan) or suspend or terminate the account in line with our Terms of Service.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time to reflect how we operate the Unlimited plan. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Unlimited plan after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we may notify you by email or through the Service.
6. Questions
If you have questions about what counts as fair use or whether your use is appropriate, contact us via the support or feedback option in the app or at the contact details on our website. We're happy to clarify.
